Gary recalls, "I was expecting the replication to take a few hours; it took about 3 minutes." He adds that Effingo now moves "a little over 1 exabytes of data per day at Google," including ranking signals and web indexes. Google Trends Revamps 'Trending Now' SectionGoogle has updated its Trends 'Trending Now' section with a new design showing more trending queries and improved filtering. Barry Schwartz reports, "This new interface can make it easier for you to research content ideas," but adds, "I never use Google Trends to decide what to write or not to write." THE LATEST IN AISE Ranking's Study Reveals Important Insights into Google's AI Overview SourcesSE Ranking conducted a study analyzing the sources used in Google's AI Overviews (AIOs). Key findings include: AIOs appeared for 7.47% of searches, with an average length of 397 words. The Relationships niche dominated AIO triggers. YouTube, LinkedIn, and Healthline were the top-linked websites. 93.67% of AIOs linked to at least one domain from the top 10 organic search results. Government (.gov) and educational (.edu) websites were frequently cited, appearing in 19.71% and 26.61% of AIOs respectively. The study also noted a significant decrease in links to Reddit and Quora.
